The KFRW 2nd District Fall meeting was hosted by the Shawnee County Republican Women on Saturday Oct13th at the Capitol Plaza Hotel.

Director Cecilia Sanaie chaired the meeting. Business included the election of the 2008-2009 officers. Elected were Becky Johnson, Director; Sue Gandhi 1st Vice President; 2nd Vice President Ramona Tessendorf; Secretary Andrea Adkins and Treasurer Linda R Smith. KFRW President Brenda Smith installed the new officers. Club and committee reports were given.

We had a very successful fund raiser thanks to the hard work of Chr. Bette Lessen. Our Speaker was former Senator Nancy Kassebaum Baker. Bette had set up a photo op with our speaker and any other elected officials.
